Noul serial este creat de Sam Levinson („Euphoria”), Abel „The Weeknd” Tesfaye și Reza Fahim și îi are în distribuție pe The Weeknd și Lily-Rose Depp. “The Idol” va avea premiera la Festivalul de la Cannes din acest an și va debuta duminică, 4 iunie, pe HBO.
